Packers QB Brett Hundley kicks off 'Lemonade for Livy Initiative'

Posted

As we are expecting very hot temperatures this weekend, it makes for a perfect opportunity to cool off with the 'Lemonade for Livy Initiative'.

Packers Quarterback Brett Hundley was out at one of the lemonade stands at the Shopko at Bay Park Square mall Thursday.

Everyday until July 7th, he along with the Epilepsy Foundation are collecting donations to fight the disease. The cause hits pretty close to home for Hundley, since his sister lives with Epilepsy.

"There's 3.4 million people in the US who have epilepsy" said Jon Scheinman of the Epilepsy Foundation. "There's 60,000 people in Wisconsin. Most people don't know that fact. And 1/26 people will develop epilepsy and yet there's still not enough money raised for services and for research."

The Shopko Foundation also plans to match all donations from the lemonade stands at their 370 locations.
