Earlier today, Packers coach Mike McCarthy announced that running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Sam Shields will not be returning for the rest of the season.
McCarthy confirmed that the two Packers players have been placed on injured reserve.
As for their plan going forward, McCarthy says they will focus on defense.
"The big plays have bit us... we're focusing the details and overcoming the challenges of injuries," McCarthy said.
