Packers President Mark Murphy announced at the shareholders meeting that the team has told the NFL it wants to host the draft in 2019, 2020, or 2021.

Hotels seem to be the biggest issue that would keep the draft out of Northeast Wisconsin. The NFL has rules in place for locations to be able to accommodate league personnel, the teams and fans who visit and watch the draft from across the nation.
The NFL draft traditionally took place in New York CIty. Over the last two years, Chicago had hosted. The location for the 2017 draft has not been released.
