Even though the green and gold play in Oakland, hundreds of fans still decided to head to Lambeau Field on Friday.
Fans know the third preseason game is usually when it starts to really feel like football season: more starters take the field, the weather starts to turn, and regular season is finally in sight.
Even though starters like quarterback Aaron Rodgers won’t take the field tonight, fans say they’re still excited to see improvement, especially on the defensive side.
Fans say they can’t wait for the preseason to end so the games can start to count. Some fans say the late start, combined with the lack of premier starters, have put a bit of a damper on the Oakland game.
Most importantly for all fans is for the team to stay healthy. They say they don’t want to see anyone go down with an injury in a game few will remember come Week One.
