Football fandom is often passed on from generation to generation.

Packers Family Night is an opportunity for parents to do just that.

The history and importance of Lambeau Field is something not lost on even the youngest of fans.

"I'm at the Packers stadium and not that far away is their training area, so its really cool," said Ian Faust, Packers fan.

Packers Family Night gives the team a chance to instill that passion, for a fraction of the price of a regular season game.

"I think it's important for the Packers to have a good family connection because they're a great American team," said Charlie Cusumano, visiting Lambeau for the first time.

The night also gives the Packers a chance to debut new features, like the American family dream zone, and new apparel in the pro shop.

"They're excited, they get the opportunity to come to Lambeau Field, maybe for the first time, maybe for the only time this season and usually it's something as part of the event, they come to the pro-shop. They're looking for something special to take home as a souvenir," said Darren Lohr, Packers Pro Shop.

Family Night captures the feeling of a game, right down to the same security.

"Rule of thumb is come in only with what you truly need. Don't bring anything extra. For families, adults, keys to your car, and your wallets and whatnot, but if you're bringing in other items, that just takes longer to get in the gates," said Arron Popkey, Green Bay Packers.

Whether you're going to come just for the practice or spend the full day at Lambeau, the excitement is something 78,000 fans won't soon forget.
