Sawdust Days is going on right now in Oshkosh. Organizers say it took a year of preparations and even a switch in locations.

The event at Menominee Park has a wide array of family activities from rides, food, music, and a kids' project area.

"I think it's a great satisfaction to know we have a free community festival where people can come through, and anyone can afford it. They can go around and look at all the free things. We have a kids zone where there are free projects to take, where they can make and take them. We have clowns. They're not scary clowns," said Sawdust Days' Chairwoman Ellen Schmidt.

There will be a fireworks show on the 4th of July.

Most of the money raised during the five day event will go towards non-profit and service groups in Oshkosh.
