Over a dozen Oshkosh Police officers were on the scene last night of a dispute at a home near the UW-Oshkosh campus.
It happened around 9 p.m. near the 1100 block of Cherry Street.
Witnesses we spoke with say there was an argument over some exchanges on social media and text messages, and a 21-year-old man came to the home to confront another male he knew. Witnesses say he also had a weapon and was hostile.
Eventually the suspect jabbed the victim with a small metal object, which turned out to be a bottle opener, causing only superficial injuries. The suspect was arrested and the scene was cleared before 11 p.m.
