The Oshkosh Police Department has cleared a road of a chemical leak Monday.
Police were asking the public to stay away from the Hydrite Chemical Company near 24th Avenue and Oregon Streetdue to a chemical leak.
Oshkosh Police and the Oshkosh Fire Department were called to the scene around 6:45 a.m. Monday.
Some businesses in the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure. Officials said there is no great danger to the public as long as you did not come into contact with the chemical.
