Oshkosh police looking for 26-year-old man

UPDATE: The Oshkosh Police Department apprehended the 26 year-old male walk-away, Adrian Comacho, at about 6:00 P. M. Monday, south of the Winnebago Mental Health Institute.

Oshkosh Police located Comacho in an agricultural field south of the facility. Police say he resisted officer’s attempts to take him into custody. A Taser was deployed effectively and Comacho was taken into custody. No one was hurt in the incident. Comacho was taken to a local hospital for medical clearance, which is standard protocol. Once medically cleared, Comacho will be taken back to the Winnebago Mental Health Institute.


The Oshkosh Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating Adrian Comacho, a 26-year-old a white man who has black, bushy hair and average build.

Comacho walked away from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute during a supervised outing. He was last seen around 3:45 p.m. Monday wearing gray sweats and he is believed to be on foot somewhere in the vicinity. Oshkosh Police officers are searching the area for him. He is not believed to be armed or dangerous.
