OSHKOSH, Wis—A crash that killed a woman remains under investigation.
It happened just after 2:00 a.m. on Thursday in the 1700 block of Maricopa Dr.
When officers arrived on scene they found the vehicle on fire with the victim inside.
A 28 year-old woman from Oshkosh was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation showed the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
