Oshkosh Pharmacy robber arrested

UPDATE May 11, 2016:

The Oshkosh Police Department arrested a 54-year-old man from Oshkosh Wednesday morning for the armed robbery that occurred at about 11:19 a.m. Tuesday at the Hometown Pharmacy 1823 Jackson St. in Oshkosh.

Oshkosh Police investigators located the man at a local hotel where he was taken into custody. The man was taken to jail.

Oshkosh Police continue the investigation and no further information is being released at this time.

OSHKOSH - An armed robbery occurred at the Hometown Pharmacy, 1823 Jackson St., at about 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Oshkosh Police Department.

A man described as white, 40-50 years old, 5’6”-5’7”, 160 lbs. wearing a light gray zippered sweatshirt displayed a black handgun. It is undisclosed what the man took during the robbery. The man left out the back door to the business.

Oaklawn School was contacted to lockdown due to the close proximity of the robbery. Oshkosh North was also in a soft-lockdown.
