Oshkosh Corporation 100 year celebration includes parade, Open House

Oshkosh Corporation is celebrating its 100th year in business in 2017. On Saturday, the company will host an Open House and parade for the community to commemorate the milestone.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and is immediately followed by the Open House.

The 100 Year Anniversary Parade features more than 60 Oshkosh Corporation products, including some of the company's first innovations.

The parade will also feature members of the UW-Madison Marching Band and a flyover. It will be livestreamed here.

It begins on 20th Avenue and will turn onto Oregon Street before ending at Hughes Street.

The Open House, which runs from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., will include product rides, static vehicle displays, product demonstrations and children's activities.

Admission to the Open House is 100 cents or a canned food donation for area charities.

A shuttle will be available at the Lake Aire Shopping Center for those who want to attend the Open House after the parade. Parking will also be available at UW-OShkosh, with shuttles running frequently starting at 8:00 a.m.
