Operation Dry Water is preparing for the weekend push while raising awareness today.
Sheriff's Deputies and the Coast Guard will be out in force this weekend on Lake Michigan, hoping to reduce the number of deaths caused by drinking and drugs while boating.
The operation coincides with the peak of boating season.
