Oneida tribe to receive $3.7 million

The Oneida tribe is set to receive roughly $3.7 million dollars of federal funds allotted to Wisconsin Native American Tribes.

The block grant from the federal government totaled $21 million, with Wisconsin tribes sharing the money.

The move, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, seeks to fund affordable housing for for eligible tribes each year.
