According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, one person has died after a crash. This happened Friday around 5:00 p.m. on County Highway M, 200 yards East of Saint Johns Road, in the Township of How.
Deputies say the crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV towing a pontoon boat. The SUV towing the pontoon boat was traveling west bound, and was being driven by a 70-year-old man, from Alvin, Wisconsin. There was a passenger in the car.
According to deputies, a 44-year-old man from the Pulaski area was driving the motorcycle. The motorcycle tried to negotiate a curve and crossed over the center line hitting the pontoon boat.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, and names are not being released at this time.
