One man is in serious condition after a snowmobile accident on Fox Lake near the Blackhawk Trail Boat Landing in Dodge County.
It happened around 7:30 Sunday morning. Deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff's Department say the snowmobile operator had left the boat launch and attempted to turn his snowmobile when he lost control.
When the operator, 31-year-old Cory Chase of Lodi, lost control that caused the snowmobile to roll over and the Chase was thrown from the snowmobile. Deputies say he was not wearing a helmet.
A friend who was with Chase saw what happened and called 911.
Chase was taken by Flight for Life to UW Hospital for his injuries. Deputies say alcohol was not a factor in this crash.
