On Saturday just before 03:00 PM, the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department got a report of a single vehicle motorcycle crash on CTH JJ, just west of Long Lake Rd. in the Town of Rantoul.
Deputies say a motorcycle heading westbound driven by a 50-year-old male from Whitelaw lost control and left the road while trying to turn.
They say the driver and a 36-year-old passenger were ejected.
The driver died on scene. The passenger was sent to Gold Cross to Aurora Hospital in Two Rivers.
The crash is still under investigation.
