MANITOWOC (AP) -- A Minnesota man accused in a fatal shooting in Wisconsin has pleaded not guilty to charges.
Quinn Orn Smith is accused of killing 52-year-old Kor Yang in Manitowoc last February. Investigators say the 22-year-old St. Paul man and a second suspect showed up a Yang's home, rang the bell and shot him when he came to the door.
Police are still looking for the second suspect, a 25-year-old Twin Cities man. Smith and the second suspect are known gang members. Smith is scheduled to stand trial in Manitowoc County in September on first-degree intentional homicide.
Investigators have testified in court that the DNA from both Smith and the second suspect were found on a gun that was recovered near the crime scene.
