Nordic Mountain is opening up for the season this weekend, and skiers and Snowboarders are already enjoying the slopes.
The ski resort will be open Friday through Sunday, and then the resort will re-open next month ahead of Christmas.
It didn't feel like winter Friday, but resort staff said that it can be a good thing to have warm weather.
"The temperature today doesn't really affect things a whole lot," general manager William Ringenoldus said. "It's actually really nice for skiing. It's warm out, people don't get cold. The challenges before today, it's a lot of work getting everything ready - a lot of snow needs to be made."
The ski hill will be selling both daily and season passes for the winter ahead.
