The N.E.W. Zoo in Suamico hosted a festive holiday celebration Saturday.
Kids were able to see the animals up close while taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through the zoo. Families also were able to make crafts at the Education and Conservation Center while learning about the animals. Many were even lucky enough to grab breakfast with Santa before they told him what was on their wish-list this year.
"The kids are really enjoying themselves today it's a great holiday tradition for many families, we have some younger families that have brought their kids that say they came to the zoo every year for Holiday Fest because they came when they were kids and they're continuing that family tradition," said N.E.W. Zoo operations manager, Patricia Jelen
All the proceeds from Holiday Fest help to benefit the zoo throughout the year.
