Cancer patients will soon have a wide variety of treatment services all under one roof in Appleton.
ThedaCare's new $44 million Regional Cancer Center has cutting-edge technology. It will also offer patients emotional support services and financial guidance during what's often a difficult journey with the disease.
"Basically symbolizes a new beginning, a new beginning of delivering a different kind of care, ecology care. All of the services that a patient who is inflicted by cancer typically will encounter can be offered right here," said lead physician Matthias Weiss.
Leaders say the cancer center was built with input from patients.
The doors to the facility officially open on Monday, February 1st. It's located on Capitol Drive.
