Neenah woman hit while walking in cemetery in Appleton, Police seeking possible witnesses

APPLETON - Police are looking for possible witnesses after a Neenah woman was hit by a car while walking through a cemetery. 

The incident happened Monday around 8 p.m. when the woman was visiting the Riverview Cemetery on Owaissa Street in Appleton alone.

Police say the 43-year-old woman says she was hit by a car and sought treatment for significant injuries at a local hospital. Police say the woman has very little memory of the incident due to her injuries.

Police say the possible suspect car may have contained a young couple.
