UPDATE: Armed robbery suspect arrested in Neenah

UPDATE: Neenah Police say they arrested a suspect in the armed robbery of the Bay Area Citgo on Friday night. 

Neenah Police say officers executed a search warrant just after 1 p.m. Saturday and arrested a 22-year-old Neenah man. 

The search warrant led to the recovery of the stolen money and the firearm used during the robbery, according to police. 

After the suspect was interviewed, he was booked at the Winnebago County Jail on one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Recklessly Endangering Safety. 

At this time, police say they don't believe any other people were involved in the crime. 

No one was hurt during the robbery. 

Officers say this is the second robbery in less than a year where the Neenah Police made an arrest and recovered the stolen property within hours of the crime.

NEENAH, WI -- Neenah Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect. 

The Bay Area Citgo on at 1013 Main Street in Neenah was robbed at 9:15 p.m. Friday. 

Police said the suspect entered the store and showed a gun asking for money. 

He fled the scene in a red or maroon Ford Mustang with a black convertible top. 

He was last seen heading west on Main Street. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s. He's approximately 6'0" and 200 pounds.
