There are brand new poll numbers out today in the race for presidency. According to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll, Hillary Clinton now leads Donald Trump by 5 points; 46% to 41% among registered voters.
Among democratic voters, 52% suggested that they are satisfied with the presumptive nominee, while 45% indicated that they are unsatisfied.
For Donald Trump, it is the exact opposite.
By comparison, a majority of republican voters, 52% said they are unsatisfied with Trump and would prefer someone else. Just 45% revealed that they are satisfied.
When voters were asked if what they had seen, read or heard about Trump in recent weeks made him more or less favorable, 55% said it had given them a less favorable opinion while only 20% had a more favorable view of the real estate mogul.
The poll was conducted after Clinton became her party's presumptive nominee and following the terrorist attack in Orlando.
The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
