WGBA -- The morning crew at NBC26 is celebrating National 3rd Shift Workers Day giving a glimpse of their overnight struggles to viewers.
National 3rd Shift Workers Day is observed every year on the second Wednesday in May.
The day was created to honor all workers who work hard through the night.
Regardless of the worker's duties, the hours can make regular life difficult and sometimes unusual.
