Christmas is a magical time to connect with friends and family, but it's also a time for giving.
NBC26 and the Green Bay Fire Department want to make sure every teen has something special under the tree this year.
The 1st Annual Green Bay Fire Department & NBC26 Cares Gifts for Teens Drive runs from November 25 to December 13.
We'll be working together to collect gifts for young people ages 12-18 who may not otherwise be able to open presents with their families on Christmas morning.
Stop by any of the 8 Green Bay Metro Fire Station locations or the NBC26 News Station to donate an unwrapped gift or monetary donation. Checks can be made out to “Local 141 Charities.”
Then, join us at Shopko in Green Bay on December 13 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for a holiday event you won't want to miss!
Bring the family to meet the Green Bay Metro Firefighters and the NBC26 news crew! You can also enter in a drawing to win a cool fire truck pedal car – the perfect Christmas gift for anyone with little ones!
The event is free and we’ll have complimentary Christmas cookies available, but we do encourage you to bring an unwrapped gift to donate to our Gifts for Teens Drive.
More information about the Gifts for Teens event can be found on the NBC26 Facebook page.
On December 19, our Green Bay Firefighters will deliver your gifts to the Salvation Army to help make this year’s Christmas one to remember for local teens in need!
