Fond du Lac, WI -- Fond du Lac fire officials say a natural gas line was hit near Johnson and Doty streets around 7:50 a.m. on Friday.
Construction crews working on a water main struck the 4 inch gas line.
Johnson Street was closed in both directions for about 30 minutes.
Three houses, with a total of 10 people were evacuated.
There was no fire and no injuries as a result of the leak.
