RICHMOND, Va. — A ramen noodle factory in Virginia has reported that seven of its workers have tested positive for COVID-19.

Maruchan Virginia, Inc. reported on Thursday that seven employees have tested positive for the virus and are currently quarantined at home.

"We reported all cases to the Chesterfield County Health Department, as the safety and health of our employees and community remains our top priority," Maruchan Virginia said in a statement.

The company said that they have since "conducted a deep cleaning based on CDC guidelines," and will "continue to enforce safety and sanitization precautions above and beyond what has been outlined by the CDC and the health department."

The plant is still in operation.
