The Weather Channel had a perfect vantage point to view Monday's implosion of the Georgia Dome in Atlanta; a spectacular event that only took seconds to complete.
Unfortunately those precious seconds were blocked by a city bus making its rounds.
The bus stopped in front of the camera for 20 seconds. In those 20 seconds, the entire implosion took down the 25-year-old former home to the Atlanta Falcons.
"Get out of the way bus!" the camera operator could be heard saying.
The once 80,000-seat stadium closed earlier this year as the Atlanta Falcons moved next door to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Despite being a relatively young stadium, the Falcons' new stadium features a number of bells and whistles. While the Georgia Dome cost $214 million to build, Mercedes-Benz Stadium cost $1.6 billion.
Trust us, we were there and you guys didn't miss anything. Thanks @MARTASERVICE pic.twitter.com/W4KW8UEIHd
