April 11th- 15th is National Work Zone Awareness Week.
Last year in Wisconsin tragic crashes killed 3 highway workers.
To help make work zones safer the Wisconsin DOT will use temporary rumble strips on a dozen state highways this construction season.
State Patrol will also be deployed in work zones to enforce speed limits and other traffic laws.
