A serious crash on I-41 sent five people to the hospital and shut down all northbound traffic between Ballard Road and Hwy 441 on Tuesday.
The crash happened at 6:20 a.m. All lanes were closed for awhile and alternate travel routes were advised.
Thedastar was on scene. The victims were transported to local hospitals.
All lanes on I-41 northbound reopened at 9:15 a.m.
