The latest Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday afternoon shows presumptive Democratic candidate for president Hillary Clinton with a 6-point lead over her GOP opponent, Donald Trump, among Wisconsin voters.
Clinton registered 43 percent support in the poll among registered voters, while Trump had 37 percent. In the June poll, Clinton had 42 percent while Trump had 35.
Among likely voters, the numbers change slightly: Clinton gets 45 percent, while Trump trails with 41. 9 percent say they will support neither candidate.
In Wisconsin's Senate race, Russ Feingold still leads current Senator Ron Johnson. Feingold has 48 percent of registered voters' support, while Johnson has 41.
The poll surveyed 801 registered voters by landline and cell phone between July 7 and 10.
