Two students arrested for making threats at Fond du Lac High School

The Fond du Lac Police Department is announcing the arrest of two students from Fond du Lac High School in connection with a threatening note that was found in the hallway of the school on January 11.

The note made reference to some vulgar rap lyrics, along with a threat that was to take place today at the school. A 17-year old male has been arrested on charges of making terroristic threats and is currently being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail. A 16-year old male has been arrested and referred to juvenile authorities for party to the crime of making terroristic threats. Investigators do not believe this incident is connected to school threats made in Oshkosh.

More information will be available through the issuance of the Criminal Complaint.

Police will continue to have an increased police presence in and around Fond du Lac High School.

They don't believe there is a credible threat, but will have more officers in the area as a precaution.
