A Minnesota woman died Saturday after being hit by a van while riding a bike in Door County, the Door County Sheriff's Office said.
Lou Branham, 74, of New Brighton, Minnesota allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Juddville Road and CTH A in Gibraltar and was hit by a work van, deputies said.
Branham was airlifted to Door County Medical Center by Eagle III, where she died from injuries suffered during the crash.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash, and it remains under investigation, the Door County Sheriff's Office said.
