The state Department of Corrections reports an inmate walked away from a work release site for about 10 minutes. In a news release, the agency reported Leighton Freeman, an inmate confined to Sanger Powers Correctional Center was taken back into custody.
The incident is being referred to the Green Bay Police Department.
