Merrill Middle School in Oshkosh went into lockdown Tuesday after a report of a man with a gun near the building.
Police say they got that report just before 11 A.M. Police say they found a 23-year-old Oshkosh man carrying a BB gun.
He was taken into custody for a parole violation. The all clear was given, the lockdown lifted after about ten minutes.
