The DOT is closing the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay for an Inspection after it was hit by construction equipment. The bridge will close Thursday, April 28th from 8:00am-12:00pm for the inspection. The DOT says on Friday a backhoe being towed by a semi truck hit several upper-support beams. Currently there is a weight limit of 20 tons.
