FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Mercury Marine is expanding its global headquarters in Fond du Lac, adding 20,000 square feet to the campus.
Leaders held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, at the opening of their new two-story Noise, Vibration, and Harshness facility. The facility will design engines based on their sound, giving them the ability to make engines that run as quietly as possible.
The facility includes isolated rooms that gives designers the ability to isolate any movement or sound coming from the propulsion engines.
