The Menasha Police Department is investigating after a woman's body was found Sunday morning.
Authorities say the body was found by a City of Menasha plow driver, near the railroad tracks at the intersection of Water and Lush Streets.
The woman's body was covered in snow and appeared to have been there for a few hours. Officials say footprints in the snow were confirmed to have been hers or were accounted for.
Police say no railroad equipment had come through the area and there were no signs of foul play. Menasha Police say they believe the woman fell on the tracks.
An autopsy is scheduled for this week in Milwaukee.
