You'll recognize his hair, dark glasses, distinct voice, Ray Szmanda passed away at age 91.
He worked in TV and radio in the 1950's, and operated a broadcast school in Wausau. He joined Menards in 1976.
Menards GM Rocky Ridel says he was positive and even walked through the store.
"He's a ery nice guy just a great guy always in a great mood, very professional, often times he would help our guests while they were waiting to get the next shot set up," said Riedel.
Szmanda is a native of Milwaukee, and a world war two veteran.
Visitation is set for Thursday the 10th in Antigo, his funeral will be held that Saturday.
