Attorneys for Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt said their client plans to address the media after a scheduled court appearance December 5.
Mayor Schmitt will appear in court on charges of accepting contributions over the legal limit and accepting corporate money.
Special prosecutor Bruce Landgraf is asking the judge to issue Schmitt $4,000 in fines and 40 hours of community service.
The news conference will be held at the New Community Shelter located at 301 Mather Street in Green Bay.
