West Revenue Generation Services is announcing mass layoffs at two locations of their business. One of those locations is in Green Bay.
According to a news release, West Corporation says it will be having a permanent mass layoff at Hansen Road. Effective on August 31st, 36 employees will permanently lose their jobs. The majority of positions being laid off are sales associates.
112 employees are being laid off at the other location in Middleton. That business is located on Greenway Boulevard. More than 100 of the positions being eliminated are sales associates.
West Revenue Generation Services says the layoffs are a result of an unexpected cancelation of a contract from a major client.
The business says employees will continue to get their same level of pay and benefits until their layoff date, unless they resign or retire or are "discharged for good cause".
