The victim of a fatal one vehicle crash has been identified.
The Marinette County Sheriff says Eric D. Jakups, 31 of Peshtigo, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Police say an investigation found that the vehicle was southbound on County W when it went off the road and hit a driveway embankment.
The crash was discovered by a passing motorist.
The Sheriff's Office says the factors in the crash are unknown at this time and are under investigation.
This is the fifth traffic fatality of 2015 in Marinette County.
