In celebration of Earth Day over 600 marches will take place worldwide to show support for science including in Oshkosh, Green Bay and Appleton. Science Teacher and organizer of the Appleton march Matthew Lederer says the events are meant to celebrate the vital role science plays in every day life, "With the flagship event in Washington D.C. and 14 satellite marches in Wisconsin, the March for Science is shaping up to be the largest demonstration to support science in history." Lederer added "I'm excited to be apart of it."
