The search continued Monday evening for two men who stole cigarettes and money from a Manitowoc Family Dollar.

On Sunday evening, police were called to the Family Dollar off of South 30th Street for a report of an armed robbery.

According to store employees, two men came in around 9 p.m. and showed a black hand gun. The men then tied up the store employees in the back stock room of the store and stole money and at least 50 packs of Newport cigarettes, police said.

Officers believe the men left in a dark-colored vehicle, but have only received a vague description of that vehicle.

A customer found the two employees after the men had left, officers said.

The suspects are both described as black men, police said. One is in his late 20s to mid-30s, around 5'6" to 5'8" with black hair. The other is about 5'4" with black hair.

Detectives are working to get surveillance video from businesses in the area to help get a better idea of who they are looking for.

Anyone with information on the armed robbery could get a $500 reward if that information leads to their arrest.
