The entries happened during daytime hours, indicating the suspect or suspects are attempting contact at residences and entering when no one is found home, or watching the area and making entry when the residents are observed leaving.

Residents are cautioned to lock all doors and windows prior to leaving for more than a few minutes, and to report any suspicious persons or vehicles observed in their neighborhoods to the Manitowoc Police Department. This should include unknown subjects coming to their doors looking for a person the residents are unfamiliar with, or asking for directions to where someone may live or the location of a specific residence. Residents seeing suspicious activity should attempt to obtain descriptive information of persons, clothing and vehicles, and any vehicle license plate information if possible.
