A state trooper arrested a 49-year-old Manitowoc man early Sunday morning for his 6th OWI.
The State Patrol says the trooper initially pulled the driver over for not wearing his seat belt but then became suspicious that he was drunk. The man was arrested after refusing to take a field sobriety test.
The arrest happened at 1:22am Sunday in a parking lot off of Calumet Avenue and Dewey Street during an OWI task force operation.
