The Mirro building in Manitowoc is going to be demolished.
By a unanimous vote the city council awarded a demolition contract to Brandenburg Industrial Services out of Chicago.
The contract is worth just over $2.5 million. Demolition should be completed by July first.
The Mirro building has been vacant for more than 13 years.
