At 4:03 p.m. Friday, Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office investigators responded to the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for an unresponsive juvenile who was transported to the facility by an adult family member.
The suspicious death originated in the town of Newton.
The 7-year-old victim was identified Ethan Hauschultz.
At this time the exact cause of death is unknown. An autopsy will be performed Monday at the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
The Sheriff's Office will release additional information after receiving the autopsy results and performing additional follow up.
