A man facing felony charges after nine years on the run was back in an Appleton court room today.
Manish Patel skipped out on a bail of $750,000 dollars and vanished for nine years. He was captured earlier this year at the New York and Canadian border. Patel is accused of slipping an abortion pill into his girlfriend's drink causing a miscarriage in 2007. Today he didn't have a lawyer and is in the process of determining if he is eligible for a public defender. He is due back in court in one week..
